De Vlaamse Werkgroep Boekgeschiedenis organiseert in het najaar, in samenwerking met de Erfgoedbibliotheek Hendrik Conscience, twee boekhistorische lezingen.
Op woensdag 28 oktober (17u30-19u00) spreekt prof. dr. Noël Golvers over The Jesuits in China in the 17th and 18th centuries: the 'Ultima Thule' of the European bookdistribution. Op woensdag 2 december (17u00-18u30) is het de beurt aan prof. dr. Maurice Whitehead die het zal hebben over English and Welsh Jesuit book culture: some aspects relating to the Low Countries, circa 1600-1794.
De lezingen vinden plaats in de Nottebohmzaal van de Erfgoedbibliotheek Hendrik Conscience. De toegang is gratis.
